Overview of Content
We are living in a time of climate and nature crisis.
Business as usual is not an option.
We need to act now and do our part to protect the planet. As hairdressers, we have a lot of power and responsibility. We use and waste a lot of resources, such as energy, water, paper, plastic, and chemicals.
We also produce a lot of CO2 and other pollutants. In this workshop we will explore together the concept of sustainability, what it means for businesses, and the challenges of sustainability in salons.
What you will Learn
- How to run a hairdressing business that achieves commercial success because it is sustainable.
- A range of actions focussing on energy, carbon emissions, product waste and water use based on the 3 Rs – Reduce, Re-use and Recycle.
